We encourage you to remain civil, respectful, and use common sense to ensure WebMC remains a welcoming and positive place.


Note #1: Even if a rule isn't specifically stated here, staff still reserve the right to take action if necessary.
Note #2: Additional rules may be added as needed.
Note #3: Punishments described here are aproximate punishments, and could differ from the actual received punishment length or severity.

Chatting Rules

1. No Spamming
Please do not spam. The following things are categorized as spamming:
  • Repeatedly sending the same or similar message.
  • Using excessive capital letters or symbols.
  • Flooding the chat with unnecessary or repetitive messages.
    • First Offense: Verbal Warning/Warning. Repeated Offenses: (IP) Mute, ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours. Ultimate Offense: (IP) Mute, ranging from 10 hours to 1 day.
    2. No Brainrot
    Do not send brainrot terms. All gen Z or gen Alpha slangs and trends stemming from social media. First Offense: Verbal warning. Repeated Offenses: Warning, or a mute ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Ultimate Offense: (IP) Mute, ranging from 2 hours to 6 hours.
    3. No Half Slurs
    Do not send half slurs. Half slurs are any forms of incomplete, abbreviated or masked slurs. E.g. slurs with asterisks in them, or abbreviated slurs like 'fck'. If you try to bypass the Anti-Swearing moderation by slightly changing your words, (e.g, nword bypass by changing some letters), you are likely to be banned for up to 7 days. First Offense: Verbal warning. Repeated Offenses: Warning. Or mute, ranging from 10 minutes to 4 hours. Ultimate Offense: (IP) Mute, ranging from 6 hours to 1 day.
    4. No Full Slurs
    Do not send slurs. These are all slurs not classified as half slurs. If an extremely bad slur has been said this could result in a ban for up to 7 days. First Offense: Verbal warning. Repeated Offenses: Warning. Or mute, ranging from 10 minutes to 6 hours. Ultimate Offense: (IP) Mute, ranging from 6 hours to 2 days.
    5. No Hate/Offensive Speech
    Do not send hateful messages. The following things are categorized as hate:
  • Racism or racist remarks.
  • Hostile or violent language and behaviour.
  • Hate towards a race or religion.
  • Mocking people for their disabilities.
    • First Offense: Warning. Repeated Offenses: Mute, ranging from 15 minutes to 4 hours. Ultimate Offense: (IP) Mute, ranging from 4 hours to 12 hours.
    6. No Advertising
    Do not advertise other Minecraft servers or your own products. First Offense: Warning. Repeated Offenses: Mute, ranging from 10 minutes to 10 hours. Ultimate Offense: (IP) Mute, ranging from 10 hours to 7 days.
